He got his smile back at 77 years old!
For our patient, age was not an impediment to regaining her health and smile. Due to dental problems, she could not eat properly and felt embarrassed by the appearance of her teeth.
“I was very afraid at first, but throughout the treatment I didn’t feel any pain! It was exceptional” – DentOP Clinics Patient.
Because bone resorption was severe in the jaw, Dr. Cazacu Corrado – Specialist in Dento-Alveolar Surgery, chose to use Zygomatic implants to provide him with predictable teeth.

The proposed treatment plan includes:
- Insertion of 4 zygomatic implants in the jaw;
- Insertion of 6 conventional implants to the mandible;
- Addition of bone (3-5 units) to the mandible.
Zygomatic dental implants are long implants that are inserted into the jaw (cheekbone). They are used if bone resorption in the jaw area is severe, and an addition of bone would no longer be enough to guarantee the success of the intervention.
