The DentOP patient from Italy gave up dentures and chose a fixed teeth!
The dentures that our patient had to wear affected her quality of life, especially because she had to change them 4 times: twice in Romania, once in Serbia and once in Italy.
Looking for a suitable and sustainable solution over time, she decided to travel from Italy to Romania after following the activity in our clinics for a long time, as well as the cases solved by specialist doctors.
During the initial consultation, after analyzing the dental condition, Dr. Cazacu Corrado – Specialist in Dento-Alveolar Surgery offered him the following treatment plan:
- Fixed teeth on 6 jaw implants;
- Addition of bones;
- Insertion of 5 implants to the mandible;
- PRF – accelerated healing;
- Endodontic treatments under a microscope – for the teeth in the mandible that could still be saved.
When fixing the final teeth, Zirconium crowns were fixed on the remaining teeth for a uniform aesthetic appearance and maximum functionality.
The day after the surgery, a temporary tooth was fixed, which our patient wore during the healing of the implants. Provisional teeth have the role of facilitating the reintegration of patients into society after this complex intervention, thus allowing them to resume their daily activities.
