Our patient from Germany enjoys fixed teeth after wearing removable dentures
After our patient had an intervention in Germany to extract teeth that could no longer be saved and to make removable prostheses, she realized that she did not want to live like this and looked for a suitable solution for her.
Her dental problems began as a child, and the inappropriate treatments brought her to a situation where nothing could be saved. Thus, she had to wear 2 mobile prostheses, which she fixed with a special adhesive.
These prostheses, however, were not aesthetic at all and did not provide him with the necessary comfort. More importantly, the patient could not eat properly and this significantly decreased her quality of life.
After the first consultation with Dr. Cazacu Corrado – Dento-Alveolar Surgery Specialist, he proposed the following treatment plan:
- Insertion of 6 implants in the jaw;
- Insertion of 6 implants to the mandible;
- PRF – accelerated healing;
- Sinus Lift bone augmentation in the maxilla;
- Addition of bone 3-5 units to the mandible.

The bone additions were necessary because bone resorption is an effect of wearing removable prostheses, and without them the implants would not have had the necessary conditions to heal and integrate properly.
