DentOP dental implantology clinic, a new concept on the Romanian dental market
The DentOP dental implantology clinic, a new dental clinic concept, opened in Bucharest (15 Petru Rareș Street, sector 1) after an investment of over 850,000 euros. It includes 4 treatment rooms, an operating room, a postoperative reserve and a radiology center with computer tomography.
“The DentOP dental implantology clinic brings together a team of specialists, coordinated by Dr. Cazacu Corrado, a specialist in dento-alveolar surgery, president of the Association of Dentists Specialized in Oral Surgery and Implantology”, says Dr. Petru Mitrașca, founder of the DentOP clinic.
The concept of the clinic that offers the full range of dental services is based on the combination of a rich experience of complex rehabilitation, on dental implants, with medical infrastructure designed so as to meet the most demanding quality standards of medical services.
The operating room is designed in such a way as to ensure the most optimal conditions in terms of dental implant insertion interventions and to emphasize patient comfort. It also includes a postoperative reserve in which the patient will recover from surgery which, in certain cases, is performed under conscious sedation.
“Most of the time, the insertion of dental implants takes place under conscious sedation of the patient by an anesthesiologist so that the patient does not feel fear or pain during the intervention,” explains doctor Petru Mitrașcă.
He adds: “All complex rehabilitation interventions with the fixed teeth technique in 24 hours on dental implants are performed under sedation and monitoring. The advantage of this approach is that the patient feels much more relaxed during the intervention, he is semi-asleep. He no longer feels pain or fear, and intraoperative safety is greater because he is permanently monitored through the vital functions monitor.”
Sedation technique iv: conscious sedation – painless allows treatment in maximum safety conditions especially in the case of patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes or other medical problems.
“The CT scanner in the clinic allows planning down to the smallest detail of dental implant insertion interventions, which increases the predictability of the treatment. This device is also indispensable in the case of complex treatments with extreme atrophies of the maxillary bones, when the patient has no bone left and the tooth must be rehabilitated with the help of zygomatic implants”, adds Dr. Corrado Cazacu.
Within the DentOP dental implantology clinic, an educational center is also designed where the series of courses for dentists will be continued, such as those organized in Iasi and Cluj by the Association of Dentists Specialized in Oral Surgery and Implantology.
